In many ways it is funny how life is going on. Sometimes it is really hard to cont inue living and fighting for things that you believe, you feel your legs weaking and want to throw it all away and give up…………life is not easy for anyone, but for most is more difficult and certanly it depends on the number of opportunities you’ve had in your life…………………in any case getting up every morning and say to yourself ………Get up!!!  you are here because you have dreams to realize, because you believe in what you do, you can not lose time, because YOU HAVE TO BE THE BEST YOU CAN BE, it is the only way to evolve, to push the human being forward, make the people coming behind you, better than you.

Each one of us must build our own library of motivation, a big one, full of stuff. all elements that can motivate you every day, I personally over the years I began to admire many people, famous people,simple people, moments, movies, music, videos, pictures, drawings, words, notes, etc,  all stuff that I consider usefull for me, and it will inspire me forward.

Now!!! I want to share a scene that I consider a piece of art, a scene from the movie Rocky 5, that sometimes I look and I can not stop looking again and again and again…the words, the acting, the music, the lighting, the photography, the full set is perfect, sometimes we need to see and hear something like this……………

Thanks Mickey Goldmill (Burgess Meredith) for such an amazing acting and thanks Bill Conti for the amazing sound track…………Ouh man……I really love this kind of things!!!!

My Mentor asked me this question this morning: WHEN WAS THE MOMENT THAT YOU REALIZED YOU WANTED TO BE AN ANIMATOR???!!!!,

Woopsss!!!!! This question caught me by surprise and I couldn´t answer. So, I’ve been thinking about this during the hole day and I tried to fiind an answer into my  complex world from my memory, and I didn´t  find an exactly moment in my life where I have decided to be a character animator, rather than I think it was a lot “consecutive moments”  which allowed me to now be part of this dream.

I remember when I was a child, I could stay for hours and hours watching cartoons on my TV (still black and white TV. ) Amazing TV series like the Roadrunner, Tom and Jerry, Bugs Bunny, Speedy Gonzales, Mighty Mouse, Mickey Mouse, Donald, Goofy, Little Lulu, The Captain Tsubasa, Mr Maggoo, The Pink Panther, the Ant and the Aardvark, Transformers, Thundercats, He Man, the Smurfs, the Flintstones, the Fantastic 4, the Justice League, Defenders of the Earth and GI Joe, Sesame Street, Muppets Show, etc.

I also remember that movies have had great influence in my life, especially movies like Roger Rabbit, Big Fish,  Back to the Future, Star Wars, The Mask, Jurassic Park, Terminator, all Disney Animation Studios particulary Lion King, and of course japanise movies like Totoro, Porco Roso, Castle in the Sky, Nausica, Princess Mononoke, Spirited Away. I couldn´t believe that there were people creating stories, fantastic worlds and amazing characters with so much life. Definitivelly I’ve been more sure of what I wanted to do in my life when Pixar Animation Studios gave us such awesome movies.

I’ve been doing animation for 4 years and although I have to work hard I love what I’m doing!
